Camping De Kooi is beautifully situated on the Wadden island of Terschelling and lies central between the villages Midsland and West-Terschelling. The campsite is located at the base of the 20 meters high Arjensdune in the middle of nature and is spacious and peaceful. Next to the camping there is the dunelake of Hee where you can take a swim. The villages and the beach are within easy reach by bike. The campground is car-free, which means that cars and campers can’t drive during their stay, except for the arrival and departure days to load und unload the camping gear. De Kooi is a 3,5 star ANWB Charm campsite.
Not only the campsite, but also the surrounding area offers you and the children many opportunities to have fun. We divide the fields according to the age of the children so that they make friends quickly and the rhythm is similar. In the middle, the fields for sports and games remain free. Various activities are organized on and around the campsite during the summer holidays.

De Kooi is a 3,5 star ANWB Charm campsite equipped for tourist camping, meaning no static caravans. The campground is peacefully and spaciously situated between forest, dunes and meadows next to a dunelake with bathing facilities and borders on natural monument ‘De Kooibosjes’.
There is a cosy restaurant on the camping. The camping sites vary from cozy and sheltered to spacious and with a wide view. When you make a reservation, we’ll bring your wishes in accordance with your camping site as good as possible. Feel free to ask us about the possibilities.
In 2024 Camping de Kooi is open from 19 April to 15 September.

In the former farm there is a cosy restaurant that is opened from May to the end of August. You can also rent this unique location for weddings, parties, meetings and receptions.
